AN INTERACTIVE SHORT STORY
EST. 1978 — CLOSED 2009

ONE LAST CONNECTION

Some things
only exist
if we remember.

A closed amusement park. A computer left running.
Fourteen memories, and just enough power for seven questions.

01—07

Ask seven questions. Save what matters.
Everything you leave behind will disappear.

  1. Choose a glowing point on the park map.
  2. Send its suggested question, or write your own.
  3. Keep the answer. Lose another memory. Leave a final record.

KEEPER CAN ONLY ANSWER SEVEN TIMES

What do you want to save?

  1. Choose a memory. Click a glowing point on the map. A question appears in the writing box. Clicking alone does not spend a turn.
  2. Press Ask Keeper. Read the answer in the middle panel. One question uses one turn, including questions Keeper cannot answer.
  3. Open your notebook. Click a saved title on the right to unfold its note and document. These memories are safe.
  4. Watch what disappears. A different unheard memory is erased after each question. Its point goes dark. You cannot bring it back.
  5. Leave a record. After seven questions, write a few lines about what you discovered. You can add saved fragments and download the result.

You are choosing what survives, rather than trying to find a correct answer.
